When selecting a Barnegat Fishing Charter, look for a captain with knowledge of fishing local waters.

Captain Tom has been fishing Barnegat Bay and surrounding waters for over 30 years. The 28 ft. vessel, Reel Chaos, is a 2014 Regulator Center Console with a full head. Whether inshore, offshore, sunset cruise past Barnegat Light House or even your favorite waterfront restaurant, be assured that you and your family will reach your destination comfortably, safely, and in style.

We are centrally located leaving out of our home port of Forked River New Jersey, minutes from beautiful Barnegat Bay and Barnegat Inlet. This location allows us to fish many productive areas north and south. From Manasquan Inlet to Little Egg Harbor and covering all waters in between and around Long Beach Island (LBI).

Captain Tom offers custom charters aboard Reel Chaos which is the perfect boat for inshore or offshore fishing. Capt Tom offers fishing trips for the professional to the novice fishermen and for the youngest anglers, it is an opportunity to have the time of their lives. With our inshore reefs and ocean lumps playing host to fluke, sea bass, weakfish/sea trout, blackfish, striped bass, and croakers. Our Offshore waters offer bluefish, tuna, bonita, false albacore, mahi mahi, and some MONSTER SHARKS.

Our services and ability to customize any maritime event set us apart from any other charter service. We also can arrange pick up on the island (LBI) for your convenience. Full & Half Day charters are available. Take time to browse our site. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us anytime.

Welcome to the Reel Chaos Family.

Capt. Mike Kuligoski Jr. and the Sweet Melissa, A 2001 30 foot Grady White Marlin. She is powered by twin 250 Yamaha outboard engines. She really is a fishing machine. Sweet Melissa is outfitted with Raymarine Radar, Sonar, GPS, and Auto Pilot.  She also has a backup Furuno GPS/Sonar and two VHF radios, not only to communicate with other captains to find the fish, but also for safety reasons.

Capt. Mike Kuligoski Jr. has his OUPV 6-pack license and his 50 Ton Master upgrade from the United States Coast Guard. He grew up on the water and has been interested in fishing since he could hold a fishing pole. He has extensive knowledge of the local fishing grounds, from inshore reefs to offshore canyons and lumps.
